Which is exactly what the did with 10 Cloverfield Lane. :skull:

It wasn’t necessarily horrid, but also definitely the weakest of the series.

poor netflix

I liked it, so can someone help me understand this a little better:

I know that Lane and Paradox were originally not linked to Cloverfield, but since they are, each film takes place on a different earth/dimension and times? This film set off the events for each film with what happened on The Shepard?

You’ve pretty much got it.

In the news broadcast the space crew are watching early in the film, the conspiracy theorist shown feared that the particle accelerator would create portals to other dimensions, allowing “monsters, demons, aliens, and beasts from the sea” to threaten Earth and also change the past, present and future, which is what ended up happening. So on a timeline, the dimensions are 2008 Earth (Cloverfield), 2016 Earth (10 Cloverfield Lane), 2028 Earth (Cloverfield Paradox) and 1944/WW2 Earth (Overlord).

Good to know, I don’t understand what caused everything with the crew

Never mind, I just finished watching an explanation from Found Flix
